VertiCer has expanded its services: from now on, Guarantees of Origin (GOs) for green gas and green hydrogen can also be traded via the AIB Hub, in addition to the existing options for electricity. This marks an important step towards a more sustainable European energy market.
Companies wishing to trade green gas or green hydrogen Guarantees of Origin at the European level can now do so with the following countries:
- Austria – E-Control
- Belgium (Brussels) – Brugel
- Czech Republic – OTE
- Finland – Gasgrid Finland
- Italy – GSE
- Latvia – Conexus Baltic Grid
- Portugal – REN
- Spain – Enagas GTS
Switzerland (via Pronovo) will soon be added to the network of countries with which Guarantees of Origin can be exchanged.
In addition, VertiCer will remain connected to the ERGaR platform until July 1, 2026, at the latest. This provides users a temporary export route for green gas. For more information for using this temporary export option, please contact VertiCer's service desk at: [email protected].
With this expansion, VertiCer strengthens its role in the energy transition and facilitates cross-border trade in sustainable energy carriers.
