Registration as a producer
This page tells you what you need to do to receive certificates for the energy you produce.
To be eligible for the certificates, you must be registered as a producer with VertiCer. Your installation must also be approved by the grid operator or the metering company and registered by VertiCer.

Have you registered your production installation? You can find the status of your production installation in MyVertiCer below 'Mijn productie installaties'. Under the overview you can find the explanation of the status.
- You can register yourself as a producer by logging into MyVertiCer and completing the registration form.
- You can then register your installation directly and fill in the registration form. If you are already known as a producer, you can register your installation directly after logging in.
- You need a few details of your installation for your application: the nominal capacity (in MW), the EAN code of your production installation, the EAN code of your grid connection (in case of electricity production), your grid operator or metering company and your chosen GO trader.
- Your grid operator or metering company will assess your installation registration in MyVertiCer. The status of your registration can be found in MyVertiCer.
- Once your installation is approved, your grid operator or your metering company will start sending in the production data.
- Do you have a subsidy decision for your installation? Once your installation has been approved, we will notify RvO. They will then get to work for you.
- Your eHerkenning login details for MyVertiCer.
- The rated capacity of your generating plant in kW. You can convert your power with this tool.
- The EAN code of your production installation.
- If you produce electricity: The EAN code of your grid connection. You can find this here. Please note: Do you have several production plants behind one grid connection? Then you also need an EAN code for each installation. You can request this from your grid operator.
- If you produce thermal energy, green gas or hydrogen: Your measurement protocol co-signed by your measurement company, This describes your production plant, what energy flows there are and how these energy flows are measured.
- The name of your trader. You choose this one yourself. In practice, these is usually electricity suppliers. We recommend that you contact your trader before you register. See the trader overview under 'Downloads'.
- Your grid operator or your measurement company provides metering values of the energy produced to VertiCer.
- Do you use different types of biomass of multiple fossil fuels?
- Check the overview in 'Reporting requirement' if you need to hand in reports.
- If you use different types of biomass, you enter your montly fuel details in MyVertiCer.
- VertiCer processes these readings and the fuel details (if present).
- VertiCer issues the set quantity of Guarantees of Origin (GOs) to your trader.
