Frequently asked questions
Electricity and thermal producers can view the metering data in the 'old' MyVertiCer. Choose below the right login method:
- Producers with eHerkenning: click here.
- Private individuals with IDIN: click here.
- Private individuals with OwnIDP: click here.
For green gas producers, it is not yet possible to view metering data online.
Would you like to receive your metering data? Please contact us, and we will send it to you by email. Your metering company also has your data.
Contact your grid operator or metering company.
This can have several causes:
- Check your metering data
Contact your grid operator (for electricity) or metering company (for green gas, green hydrogen, or thermal energy) if no or incorrect metering data has been provided.
- Check if you have a valid registration in MyVertiCer
Your production installation registration is valid for 5 years. Check if your registration is still valid. If it has expired, register your production installation again via MyVertiCer. This can be done retroactively to January 1 of the previous calendar year.
- Change trader
If your current trader is no longer registered in MyVertiCer, select a new trader from the Trader Overview and update this in MyVertiCer under ‘Mijnproductie-installaties’. The GOs will then be issued retroactively.
If you have checked the above points and everything is correct, please contact VertiCer.
An overview can be found under Downloads.
For electricity, the grid operator is responsible forsubmitting metering data to VertiCer.
For thermal energy, green hydrogen and green gas, this is your metering company.
Contact your grid operator. For thermal energy, green hydrogenand green gas, contact your metering company.
If you submit your report even one day late, we are required to reduce the number of GOs by 1/365. This reduction increases for each additional day of delay. This is stipulated in the regulations of the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth.
A metering report contains metering data and/or information about biomass streams used. It substantiates the energy produced.
A metering protocol describes the production installation, energy flows, and how measurements are taken. It includes information about the location, installations, measurement accuracy, and the metering company. The protocol is valid for 5 years and must be updated when changes occur.
Some installations use multiple types of fuel. Biomass percentages indicate the share of energy from each source, expressed as percentages.
You can enter biomass percentages in MyVertiCer under 'Brandstofpercentages' tab.
After receiving the metering data and entering the fuel percentages, GOs are issued. At the end of the year, you can correct the fuel percentages once when submitting your annual report (beheersverklaring or assurance report). The deadline for submitting this document is April 30 of the following year.
At the end of the year, you can correct the specified certification scheme (such as ISCC or Better Biomass) once when submitting your annual report (beheersverklaring or assurance report). The deadline for submission is April 30 of the following year.
These characteristics cannot be changed. Please check your input carefully.
If you have the value for greenhouse gas emission reduction (also called carbon intensity) in gCO₂/MJ, convert it to kg CO₂eq/MWh to comply with the AIB standard. Multiply the available value by 3.6.
For each NTA code entered in MyVertiCer, only one country of origin can be specified. This is a deliberate choice by VertiCer to keep input stream data on GOs clear. The number of GOs issued remains the same.
