VertiCer has applied for membership with the Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB) for the so-called Gas Scheme Group. If the application is approved, you will be able to transfer Guarantees of Origin on your VertiCer trading account to and from another Issuing Body, which is also affiliated with the AIB hub for gas.
Currently, Finland (Gasgrid Finland), the Czech Republic (OTE), Spain (Enagás GTS), Austria (E-Control), Latvia (Conexus Baltic Grid AS) and Italy (GSE Italy) are members of AIB's Gas Scheme Group.
The conditions for trading GoOs through AIB are that VertiCer's membership is approved by AIB and that VertiCer's trading system is connected to the AIB hub for gas. It is expected that, if VertiCer succeeds, by mid-2025 the first gas GoOs can be traded through the AIB hub.
For now, the possibility of exporting gas GoOs through the ERGaR hub remains.
